RESCUE INDIA 2011 |
| RESCUE INDIA 2011 – (9th National Life-saving Sport Championship) will be held at LNCPE Swimming Complex in Trivandrum as well as in Kovalam Beach from 26th to 30th August. This event is organized by the Rashtriya Life Saving Society of India (RLSS(I)) to promote the concept of life saving and related sport among the youth and involve them in lifesaving movement. The four daylong events comprises of sports like obstacle swimming, manikin carry with fins, super lifesaver, rescue medley. The beach events will be held on a selection trial basis in order to select Indian teams that will take part in the China Lifesaving Tournament which will be held from September 18th to 24th in Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province of China.
This can prove to be a life changing event because during this championship; teams to participate in the RLSS Commonwealth Lifesaving Championship will be also selected that will take place in Durban, South Africa from September 27th to October 1st. |
